Please read these Terms carefully. By creating a BookShook account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use BookShook.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Member," "you," or "your") and BookShook ("BookShook," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the BookShook mobile application, website, and all related services (collectively, the "Platform").

By registering an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and members of the Platform.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your PIN. You agree to notify us immediately at support@bookshook.in if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.

BookShook will never ask you for your PIN via email, phone, or any channel other than the official app login screen. You must not share your PIN with anyone, including BookShook staff.

Each individual may hold only one active BookShook account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent any restrictions or to artificially inflate referral earnings is strictly prohibited and may result in permanent account termination.

4. Subscription & Payment

Subscription Plans: BookShook offers the following subscription plans:

All subscription fees are stated in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 48 hours before the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorise BookShook to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

Refund Policy: We offer a 7-day refund for first-time Annual Plan subscribers who are not satisfied. Refunds are not available for Monthly Plan subscribers or renewals. Refund requests must be submitted to support@bookshook.in within 7 days of payment.

Subscription Benefits: An active subscription grants you access to BookShook's full eBook library for the duration of your subscription period. Access is personal and non-transferable.

Important: Only members with an active, paid subscription are eligible to earn referral bonuses. Expired or cancelled subscriptions result in suspension of bonus earning eligibility until the subscription is renewed.

5. Referral Program

BookShook operates a referral program that rewards members for introducing new subscribers to the Platform. The following rules govern this program:

All eBooks, text, images, logos, trademarks, and other content available on the BookShook Platform ("Content") are owned by BookShook or licensed from third parties. This Content is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Your subscription grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and read the Content for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not:

Any unauthorised use of BookShook Content may violate copyright law and constitutes a material breach of these Terms, resulting in immediate account termination.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The BookShook Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BookShook shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of income or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.

Important: BookShook does not guarantee any specific level of income from the referral program. Earnings depend entirely on personal activity and the actions of others, which are beyond our control.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution: In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Platform, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through informal negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat of arbitration shall be Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.

Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.
